China’s Red Star Design Award Ceremony was held in Beijing Tianqiao Art Center in Dec. 9 2018. Since established in 2006, it has collected 58841 pieces of design works from 7267 firms in 33 countries for evaluation. The China’s domestic evaluation covers 34 provinces, cities and autonomous reigns, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Two products from Chahua Modern Housewares Co., Ltd., the X drain dish rack and multifunctional cupboard, won the award by excellent design from over 60 thousand entries. 

(The X Drain Dish Rack)

The X drain dish rack is environmental-friendly.  It is composed of ABS resin of light, tough and easy-cleaning and 304 stainless steel of food grade. The foldable X-shape design is sturdy and space saving and easily store when dishes are done drying and prevent growing bacteria. The drain board has a convenient lip which easily hangs over your sink without worrying water pooling up or spilling up your counter top. It accommodates about 12 round or square dishes (round dishes DIA 10 inches ca.24.5cm) , 4 cups & 14 bowl (DIA 4 inches ca. 10cm, depth 2 inches ca. 5cm). In full regards of all stages of production from manufacture, transportation to end use, parts assembly adopted in packing, ensures the safety of transportation and decreases the cost of logistics.  

(Multifuctional Cupboard)

And the second product is multifunctional cupboard. It’s made of PP material and integrates the storage, draining of dishes and soaking of veggies and fruits. And it is distributed by the utensil holder, dish slot, and bowl area. The drain pipe helps to keep water flowing into the sink, not onto the counter top. All parts can be removed for cleaning. Otherwise the rack can be taken apart, and the plug on the drain board can be twisted to store water for veggies and fruits soaking.
